A bibliography of books and articles:

(a) referring to the ABC in particular

(b) written by or about people whose careers are associated with the ABC. (Also, histories of particular programs or programming.)

(c) dealing with media issues in general, and

(d) on the digital era: the Internet, HDTV (High Definition Television), Satellite and Cable TV.

Some books are aimed at the popular market rather than the academic but may provide a good introduction to the issues. Some are quite out of date (and out of print) but are included to provide an historical perspective. Check the date!

Also, have a look at Public Broadcasting: New frontiers? for information about an extended bibliography dealing with the ABC and media issues.
